CHEZ BOET FRENCH HOME COOKING IS NOW SERVING CHEESE & CHOCOLATE FONDUE
Birthday, anniversary, and everyday celebrations can now be feted around a “caquelon,” (communal pot), of fondue at Chez Boet French Home Cooking with the restaurant’s introduction of Fondue Savoyarde. Chez Boet is now serving authentic French fondue, made with imported French and Swiss cheeses, accompanied by artisanal bread, fingerling potatoes, steamed vegetables, and cornichons, for $24 per person (minimum two guests per order). For dessert, Chez Boet is introducing Chocolate Fondue, made with their signature 54 percent couverture chocolate, along with fresh fruit and Madeleine cookies for dipping, for $9 per person (minimum two guests per order.) Chez Boet has played host this spring to a series of a book launch luncheons celebrating the release of “Dream Houses: Historic Beach Homes & Cottages of Naples,” authored by Joie Wilson, A.S.I.D., with photographs by Naples-based photographer Penny Taylor. The luncheons helped launch the book and were such a success that Barnes & Noble recently purchased the last of the available issues! The book now adorns the counters and entryway book stand at the chain bookstore; a B&N bookseller recently confirmed that Dream Houses is flying out the door!
