Parisian imports Lisa & Philippe Boet personally welcome you to their homey, locally-owned bistro, Chez Boet French Home Cooking, formerly known as Bamboo Cafe French Home Cooking. Open since 2003, the newly rechristened Chez Boet is a cozy neighborhood bistro mastering the art of French comfort classics. The new name reflects the unique
individuality the Boets bring to their resaurant, and their passion for
the country French cuisine that has always been on the main plate at the
nine-year-old downtown eatery.
“Renaming our restaurant Chez Boët puts our identity front and center and communicates the personal attention guests receive when dining with us. Philippe and I are the heart of our restaurant and our passion has always been to share our personal experiences of French home Cooking with the Naples community,” said Lisa Boet. “We continue to serve the same
market-inspired French home cooking that our loyal guests have enjoyed all of these years including our Boeuf Bourguignon, Bouillabaisse, Steak Frites, and Orange Duck, as well as fresh Florida seafood dishes,” she continued. Philippe
Boët is from the Loire region of France, synonymous with the great
Loire Valley wines, and Lisa Boët became a French national after
spending nine years in Paris during which time the couple met and
married. The Boëts made Naples their home in 1994.
Chez
Boët will continue to innovate with its inspired special events, themed
luncheons, and commitment to promoting the locally owned independent
restaurants of Naples through Naples Originals, an association of
independent restaurants founded by Lisa Boët in 2007.
